After Surgery
Certainly, one point that is very important for patients is post-surgery care and remote medical follow-up. At Nora Health Tour, as much as planning a safe and successful treatment journey is important to us, post-treatment follow-ups is also important. Therefore, helping you during recovery after surgery is also a vital part of the services we provide to patients because post-surgery care is as important as the surgery itself and has a significant impact on the treatment.
Care and follow-up after surgery
Post-surgery care begins immediately after the treatment and includes nursing during hospitalization, follow-up of the treatment process, health care after discharge from the hospital, and health support during the recovery period. Your body needs weeks and maybe months to recover and the results of most cosmetic surgeries require time and care to reach the ideal. Even, if you need nursing care after discharge and during your stay in the hotel, we are by your side and make the necessary arrangements. For most surgeries, we plan at least one night stay at the hospital with full nursing services to ensure that our patients receive professional and complete nursing care.
From the moment you arrive, you will have a patient affairs coordinator by your side that is fluent in a language you can speak, so that all your wishes and needs are properly reflected and you can communicate effectively with the medical staff and the environment. In addition, Nora Health Tour’s support team monitors all stages of your treatment, recovery and stay to ensure everything is running smoothly.

Passing the recovery period in the hotel
If you do not need to stay in the hospital after the surgery, you will be discharged with the doctor’s order and you can return to your hotel. We will normally check on our patients continuously while they are recovering at the hotel. In addition, the care team of the support department of Nora Health Tour will be in continuous communication with the hospital and the treatment staff about you so that your information and treatment needs are updated. If you need it during your stay at the hotel, it will be possible to arrange for an experienced nurse to be with you so that you don’t have to worry about anything other than your recovery.
How will my post-op medical appointment be arranged?
After performing most surgical procedures, there is a need to visit the surgeon again. During the visit session, the surgeon usually removes the stitches/plaster/drains and provides you with important care instructions. Nora’s team will arrange an appointment with the surgeon, and you will not need to worry about this at all. Our support team coordinates all the necessary appointments with the doctor’s office and the hospital, and we are with you on the appointed day and time with prior coordination. The coordinator will accompany you from the hotel to the doctor’s office, and during your stay, she/he will act as your translator and companion, and she/he will accompany you back to the hotel.
After the end of my stay in Iran, how does Nora Health Tour help me on my return flight?
Getting on a plane after some surgeries can be dangerous. Our medical support team is in continuous contact with the surgeon and the hospital to make sure that the doctor approves you to board the plane according to your post-surgery conditions. The Nora Health Tour team will receive the permission letter for your return flight home from the doctor and will arrange your flight home. Also, a complete transcript of your treatment process in Iran and a comprehensive hospital report along with test results or doctor’s letters in English will be prepared for you by Nora’s support team to keep in your medical file at home.

How will I communicate with my doctor and surgeon after I return home?
We understand that maybe communicating with a doctor from miles away and not mastering a common language to convey concepts can cause you concern. Also, in our support protocol, the follow-up of each patient’s medical records continues after returning home, and we convey medical recommendations to you after consulting with your surgeon.
